Eradicating Destructive Fishing Practices through Sustainable Socio-Economic Change
The Reef Defenders (RD) is an NGO registered in Hong Kong (19/56446), that was founded in June 2014 by a group of high school and undergraduate students who were determined to see an end to Blast Fishing in South East Asia.
Any solution to this problem must take a multi-faceted approach, with a focus on addressing the needs of the indigenous community. The solution is comprised of three phases that work in tandem.
